Job Position: Daycare Lead
Reports to: Daycare Director
Goals:
To support graduates of NBHomes programs as well as current residents by providing safe, loving, nurturing, convenient and affordable care for their young children on our campus. The dream of starting our own daycare center is on God's heart! This program does not yet exist. Are you passionate about babies and toddlers? Come dream with us!
Responsibilities:
● Oversee day to day operations of daycare center for newborn to age 2
● Assist with managing staffing needs
● Build programs, group activities, structure procedures
● Create a business model that is adherent to all WA state guidelines
● Communicate with director in order to provide comprehensive care
● Build positive relationships with all the residents living at New Beginnings
● Assist with fundraising events as needed
Required Skills and Qualifications:
● Personal knowledge of Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior and exhibits Christian fruit and
integrity in attitudes and actions
● Self starter
● Completion of Discipleship Training School with Youth With a Mission
● Assessment/diagnostic ability
● Administrative/organizational skills
● Positive personal interactions
● Writing/communication skills
● Program development skills
● Experience involving supervision of teenagers or working with youth (preferred)
Expected Attitudes:
● Support and encourage executive staff and be willing to yield to their oversight of the daycare center
● Ability to show Christian compassion and encouragement

● Faithful attendance in a local church
● Committed to the institution of adoption, the sanctity of human life, and sexual
abstinence outside of marriage
Length of Commitment:
At least two years, with hopeful extensions in 6+ month increments
Salary/Reimbursement:
This is a volunteer position. Room and board as well as a vehicle to be used for ministry
purposes is provided.
Hours:
Weekdays, potential hours could range from 6am-6pm.
Evaluation:
Regular feedback will be provided. The daycare director will be evaluated at 30 days, 60 days, 90
days and quarterly thereafter.
